Memorial Service - 11/22
The Gerety Family invites all who knew and loved Mora and their family to attend her Memorial Service on Saturday, November 22nd at 11am at the Cathedral of the Rockies.
Rather than wearing black, we request that attendees dress colorfully or in the apparel of the places and activities she loved: Washington Elementary School, The Children’s School, TRICA, flag football, soccer, BBSEF, BYRDS, Horsethief Camp, river trips and more.
Honoring Mora
In lieu of flowers, the Gerety Family invites anyone who wishes to contribute to two extraordinary Boise organizations that brought her joy to and helped shape Mora into the kind, empathetic, creative, beautiful person she was to all:
The Children’s School and TRICA.
Both scholarship funds help ensure that financial circumstances never stand in the way of a child participating in these incredible programs.
The Mora Gerety Scholarship Fund is created in loving memory of Mora Gerety, a joyful and caring former TCS student. This scholarship helps ensure that more children can experience the warm, creative, and child-centered learning community she loved at The Children’s School of Boise. Gifts to the fund honor Mora’s bright spirit by opening doors for young learners and supporting the values of kindness and curiosity that she embodied.
In loving memory of our longtime TRICA student, with the encouragement of her family, we are establishing the Mora Gerety Scholarship Fund to honor her bright spirit and joyful presence in our community. This fund will support future TRICA students, helping them discover their own creativity and love of the arts - just as Mora did.
